Wit's Music
Music has the power to make someone feel a quiet disposition that compels a listen. It’s (music) by nature, non-threatening. Sometimes this is the preferred way to communicate. It’s the beauty in it that has a way of disarming others. Music is just one of the expressions. My personal preference

Music from the album Light Up
Wit released her first and only self-published album called, Light Up, the Easter before her diagnosis. As a teen and adult she followed Misty Edwards and Sara Groves, both nominated for Dove awards, appropriately named. The two of us had often spoken of their transparency with their profound lyrics that stirred the soul. Wit loved all kinds of music that had a gritty and honest feel. And in full confession, when it was just me and Wit in the car we also listened to Mumford & Sons, U2, Johnny Cash and occasionally The Cranberries. Music was something we had in common. She was about thirteen, when on the same night she would receive a Dove Award one day and both thought it would probably happen. In Surrendered & Unafraid we share the story of one birthday when she received a Dove award of her own.
